How to find and confirm your mounting pattern.
What VESA means
VESA is the standardized grid of threaded holes on the back of a television, described in millimeters as width by height, for example 400x400.
How to measure
Measure center-to-center between the horizontal holes, then between the vertical holes. Round to the nearest standard value.
Common patterns
Smaller displays typically use 100x100 to 400x400. Large-format screens commonly use 600x400 or 800x400.
Bolt size and depth
Use the bolt length supplied with your mount, plus spacers if the panel is curved or recessed. Never force a longer bolt into the panel.
