Installation

How to Mount a TV

A clear, safe sequence for a first-try installation.

Before you start

Confirm your TV's VESA pattern and weight, choose the wall, and check for studs, pipes, and wiring. Two people make the lift safer.

Choose the height

Center the screen near seated eye level, typically 40 to 48 inches from the floor to the middle of the display. Tilt mounts help when the screen sits higher.

Mark and drill

Use the supplied template, level it, and mark pilot holes at stud centers. Drill pilot holes sized for the supplied lag bolts.

Attach the wall plate

Fasten the plate into structural studs or a suitable solid wall, then confirm level again before loading it.

Attach the brackets and hang

Bolt the TV brackets to the VESA holes using the correct bolt length and spacers, then lift the screen onto the plate and secure the locks.

Level and manage cables

Fine-tune level, route cables behind the screen, and verify the tilt or articulation moves freely without strain.
